Since we're crashing the same silly car again, here's an old thread with comments.

Being held responsible for the lusts of men around you as a child left some horrible after-effects. I remember being told to change my clothes when certain people visited the house. I couldn't wear shorts.

I've wished various and sundry specific ills on a number of people. I'd like to know the limits of what's permissible.

Oh, no! One of my writing teachers talked about this sort of coincidence as us all drawing from the same well. Condolences to you, and to us.

I'm also interested in murder ballads--because I am a Country music fan, this stuff fits together. Definitely second-guessing what sorts of things to think out loud about here. I had been before, and very much am doing that now, because of the lack of transparency and consistency.
