No, I’m talking about putting the pet relief station on the left into the private train car on the right

Baltimore weighing in early on the fixie debate

Looking at the map, I’m not sure there are great options for a subway. If you go under the railroad tracks, you wind up having to go really deep for most of the route.

Damn someone should invent a council that represents people from all over the city, that sounds super useful

I see we’ve moved past the “I support renters but” pretense
November 21, 2025 at 10:09 PM
Would that be somewhere between 25th and 29th?

Also I’m looking at the map and I feel like putting Charles North south of Charles Village was a bad plan
November 5, 2025 at 7:58 PM
Yeah, that looks pretty small to me
October 28, 2025 at 7:14 PM
Damn it’s a shame they didn’t address that in the article

You know what your neighbors could legally do now that would block your sun? Plant a tree.

It’s actually easier to gerrymander the more seats there are. You can draw some dots on a piece of paper and test it for yourself.

Having more districts means that you can pack more districts with the voters you want to suppress, which is what I drew out

Disappointing campaign announcement email from Conway: “I’m running for office and I’ll figure out why my district wants me to run later”

It does feel particularly fitting that Trump’s version of the statue is not solid marble but rather marble bits and resin

Seems bad that we’re now in the “white people explicitly admitting they’re looking for plagiarized background info in Black academics’ work as a form of revenge” era!

I would be embarrassed to answer a rhetorical question with “perspectives might vary”

This becomes really obvious when they get to trans people.

They argue it’s unnatural to have women’s sports be for “females or persons who identify as female” because that’s more words than “female”

They offer three tests for determining naturalness: changeability, arbitrariness, and use value. But these tests don’t actually work.

Look at this list of sets.

Some sets on the left are subsets of sets on the right (“gold” is a subset of “gold or iron pyrite”), others are supersets (“water” is a superset of “water in Lake Erie”), and others overlap (something could be an oak tree, look like one from 10’, both, or neither)

It’s so funny that Middleton and Porter voted against an amendment clarifying that the bill doesn’t affect existing buildings

Like what are we even doing here

Ivan Bates doing a Fox News town hall? Yeah, that tracks.

If the list of archetypal works includes Harry Potter what are we even doing here

Like “involves a school” and “a bad thing happens” are the only criteria we might as well throw in the breakfast club
