I dashed along the endless sea
The dragon’s flag in breezes high
And Cymru’s love within my sigh

They named me Ruby warm and bright
A gem that glowed in morning light
A rescued soul a tale retold
More precious than the purest gold

Now trots through halls of history

Where molten metal brightly poured
The echoes whisper through the ground
Of hammers striking iron bound
