i take particular issue with the people developing software that ends up being glorified google forms. like woah there mister abstract, can't risk having any business logic in there can you? it would be a tragedy if you couldn't just shoehorn it in to some other process 5 years down the line, right?

did you know: the reason AI/ML models take so long to train is not due to GPU limitations, but because of the high amount of time necessary to get python/pytorch/cuda working with the exact versions the authors used but didn’t think to document anywhere?

at some point everyone started talking about chappel roan and idk who that is so in the limited capability of defiance i still have i pronounced it chappel roan and now i just pronounce it chappel roan but no one corrects me 😕
