I canceled my Duolingo subscription after they announced they were replacing workers with AI, but I’ve had a hard time letting my streak go. I’ve decided tomorrow is the day. I don’t enjoy it anymore, or trust the language courses (I’ve been doing the music one instead but I finished it). Fuck AI.

My boy hasn’t been eating the last few days. He’s already been to his normal vet twice this week and they’ve tried several treatments without much luck. I’m going to have to take him to the emergency vet tomorrow, and I’m really worried it’s gonna be bad news.

Lately I’ve been reckoning with the fact that my perfectionist streak comes in no small part from to trying to live up to Sydney Bristow’s (unattainable) example. This led me to want to re-read the Alias novels. I opened the first one and was immediately assaulted.

Anyone else getting a ridiculous number of right wing/MAGA ads on FB today? I’ve had to hide/block so many already today, and they just keep coming. This one really took the cake.
