The cruelty is the point. That's been said for years, but this administration should be a slap in the face by comparison. Budgets are not the issue, immigration is not the issue, war, imbalance in trade. NONE of that is the issue.

They are CRUEL and EVIL.

They hate the love and love the hate.

Apologies :/ I wasn't referring to you, but I can see how I came across. I'm sorry. Clarity in brevity is... fun. I usually spend a LOT of words trying to get a point across, which might have helped? Dunno. No True Scotsman exists for a reason-people better than I know how to apply it, it seems.

It's just a matter of time, if they're allowed to continue marching us to Gilead. The crueler the punishment, the quicker it will be embraced.

They're christians, bad or not. I feel that use of logical fallacies by some to separate themselves from bad actors is troublesome as it removes responsibility. Sure, intent matters, but the bad ones still claim the beliefs and their peers have a biblical mandate to see to, and deal with, them.

They'll sure expect and demand it if it's for them, though. ;)

Especially now, we can count on it to be them. I maintain, while it's often evangelicals in the US that are among the most horrible, it is troubling that there doesn't seem to be much volume from the others. It's their biblical responsibility to be the first & loudest because of their shared faith.
