According to the car wash owner, agents arrested employees before they could obtain their documentation from their work lockers. So many were likely here legally.

Here's hoping this article on Zac boasting about how he ruined some immigrants' lives follows him around for a very long time.

Most people in rightwing media are disingenuous grifters, but I have long believed Dreher is not. He is, however, just dumb as a post with a comical lack of self awareness.

Which, it turns out, leads him to the exact same place as the disingenuous grifters.

Special episode of House M.D. where somehow Bond is back from the island and didn't explode but he's still poisoned.
They make an antidote but he dies anyways because he concurrently had lupus.

Everyone is dunking on poor Noah Smith for getting lost and frustrated at Heathrow Airport and blaming him, which is victim-blaming and I am quite disappointed in all of you. Put the blame squarely where it belongs: on whoever failed to pin his name and destination to his sweater-vest.

A splitting of assets is a thing most divorces require. "Giving" your spouse ALL of your retirement assets makes it seem like there's probably more to this story about what exactly was actually agreed to (e.g.: retirement $, but no alimony) or how you put yourself in the position to have it forced.

if you voted in Seattle you gotta make sure your ballot counted now
There are 1,700 ballots that need signature confirmation. That is enough to change the election.

Go. Check. Your. Ballot.

I would (and have!) argue that a pretty big reason everyone else allowed everything get to this point was decades of saying "well they surely don't really really want *that*," over and over, well past the point of rational belief.
A core part of this whole discourse on here is a lot of ppl just continuing to refuse to believe that Republicans might actually have sincere beliefs that they will adhere to.

Recast Bond on a special crossover episode of Doctor Who

Thought Experiment: If you cast Sydney Sweeney as the new Bond, would each side fold in on itself over and over until the universe blinked out of existence.
My only thoughts about this:

1. Haven't we all assumed each Bond is an entirely different person over the past 60 years? Has anyone really thought, "oh it's just this one guy?"

2. This is clearly the time to finally cast Idris and watch the internet explode in rage.

Zombie Bond. Bond's remains are interred in Jamaica where Fleming lived and where Bond had some of his most racist episodes. Baron Samedi resurrects him and he becomes a tool of the Jamaican Secret Service. They can continue to use someone in the Craig age class.

This.
They shouldn't, and needn't, try for six.

Don't even "reboot."

Just drop us right into New Bond's world and don't bother looking backwards, at least not for significant plot elements.

He should set up trust funds that give each a small monthly allowance until they reach an appropriate age to handle that kind of responsibility.

As a resident gen-xer I feel compelled to point out nobody woke up in a shower- Pam woke up in bed and Bobby was already in the shower, which showed *she* had dreamed the whole season. I mean, come on!
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."
