It's just a poll but it's encouraging nevertheless. It's a parliamentary democracy which means we should be voting for a candidate representing our riding but alas we seem to be basing important political decisions on talking points and slogans from leadership hopefuls far away from communities.

Mark Carney was named the best central banker in the world and helped get Harper's majority government through the financial crisis. It'll be interesting to see how PP deals with his formidable opponents.

A country with many of the world's most notable contributions has allowed a seriously mentally unstable, aspiring authoritarian to occupy the most important seat in the country. The US's cred on the world stage is seriously diminished. Lost your home because of extreme weather? Trump cares not.
