yeah the internet was saying i needed to download yet another program for setting up partitions or something but it was all just gibberish to me. it's super frustrating when even beginner guides just assume a lot of things or elide things

yeah i got linux working on a usb just fine, but i got too confused with trying to keep a windows partition and a linux partition. so i just decided to nuke the whole thing and go with just linux
