Trump is reportedly looking to shrink the FDIC and consolidate it into other govt agencies.

The FDIC was created during the Depression to protect bank deposits.

This would come after Trump and DOGE shuttered the CFPB, which protects us from financial fraud.

See the pattern?

After the story broke, the State Department's procurement document removed mention of Tesla.

When Trump took office, the NLRB had 24 separate investigations into Musk’s corporations for violating workers’ rights.

But presto...Trump fired three officials at that agency, effectively stalling the board's ability to rule on cases.

See how this works?

Cost of extending the expiring Trump tax cuts for the rich: $4.6 trillion

Cost of cutting corporate tax rate to 15%: $1 trillion

Both Trump proposals will explode the deficit and be used as an excuse to gut programs that millions rely on.

It's reverse Robin Hood.

On Tuesday, Trump fired him.

So much for transparency.

You cannot make this up.

DOGE's crusade isn't about government efficiency. It's about making Elon Musk richer at your expense.
🚨BREAKING: While targeting federal education contracts, Elon Musk just scored a new deal for more government cash, according to documents reviewed by The Lever.

The new "supplemental agreement" adds millions to SpaceX's already huge $3.9 billion deal.

It's about shielding himself from accountability.

Major cuts to programs that millions rely on, all to finance another round of tax cuts that will disproportionately benefit the wealthy and big corporations.

Another reminder that we have socialism for the rich, harsh capitalism for the rest.
The House GOP plan calls cut taxes by $4.5 trillion - partially offset by more than $1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid & SNAP

So they wanna do a giant tax cut that disproportionately helps the rich while taking away people's health insurance and food while still adding trillions to the debt.

When Trump was sworn in, Elon Musk's corporations were under more than 32 investigations conducted by at least 11 federal agencies.

Most of the cases are now closed or likely to be closed soon, and the federal agencies are being defanged by DOGE.

Funny how that works, huh?

Never forget that Trump was the culmination of 40 years of stagnant wages, widening inequality, corruption, dog-whistle politics, and economic gains for the rich.

If we fail to address this, we should expect future Trumps as far as the eye can see.
