Haha yeah exactly. Especially with movement, my brain just keeps trying to autocorrect to one or two point perspective.
I’m just listening to podcasts and drawing dozens of frames at a time, at some point it just clicks. You gotta just power through the first bit!

I think just getting one strong model done, and cut and pasting the limbs as to keep them proportionate and cleaning those up. I’m really just focusing on key frames and letting squash and stretch do a lot of heavy lifting
I’m an oil painter, so the isometric perspective is a bit wonky haha

Thanks! I’m nearly done with the vertical slice, and the first tests have gone well, so if I keep to pace, the demo should be out in a couple months?
My hard deadline for sure will be before Next Fest in Feb, but I’m shooting for January!

Oh, there was a small bug in the arrows that made the critical hit change the colour of the NEXT attacks text. Fixed! Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah, I did that, but I also added in an extra hand drawn animation for fun. There’s also bleed and poison and about a dozen other elemental skills, so the text helps organise things later down the line too!
