Trudeau: I want to speak first directly to the American people… your government has chosen to do this to you. Your government has chosen to put American jobs at risk. They have chosen to raise costs for American consumers on everyday essential items…

MY LITTLE GOLDEN BOOK ABOUT PRIDE comes out today and I'm feeling extremely Ralph Wiggum "I'm in danger" about it. It's beautiful though and I love it no matter what they say

“Shouldn’t loyalty to a country mean you want it to be the best it can be? Sometimes that means learning what’s wrong so it can change.” What a great book.

I bought diapers for the first time today. A woman with a big smile was joyfully waving at cars entering the grocery store parking lot. She held a sign with the words, I need diapers and formula for my baby. It doesn’t matter who needs help or why. If you can help, please do.

It seems that thanks to public pressure, the Trump Admin just backpedaled.

This was a mess that shouldn't have happened in the first place. I’m still hearing how hard this has been on Minnesota vets and their families. And a lot is still unclear.

This chaos was totally avoidable.
I just got a report that the Minneapolis VA has stopped hiring workers thanks to a hasty Trump Executive Order.

They’ve rescinded offers to dozens of people who were going to fill critical roles to care for vets.

Good morning! I checked out the childrens library book, And Tango Makes Three, by Justin Richardson. It’s a delightful story of two penguins, Roy and Silo, who create a nontraditional family. This short story is good for young readers. #kidsbooks
