Still life with typewriter? The new home for my late father's typewriter. It is a Royal KMG with a wide carriage. It still works fine and I tap away at it every once in a while. #typewriter #shrine #writingtools #stilllife

Which do you folks prefer? The color image I took with a Nikon D3s and a relatively modern 50mm lens. The black and white image I took on film (TMax 400) with a Nikon F3 and an older 50mm lens. #photography #nikon

I'm not a gamer, but I enjoy the Playdate - mostly for what it isn't. Panic isn't trying to be a billion dollar company, the underlying technology isn't "let's re-skin Android", it isn't a color widescreen, it isn't an "internet communications device", Panic isn't gatekeeping developers. #playdate

Look folks, ducks! Specifically Hooded Mergansers on a pond in eastern North Carolina. I used a 500mm lens, but even that wasn't enough to get close. Birds are small and the world is very big. I should have taken more time :-) #photography #birds #ducks
