There are thinner egg shapes, and there's all kinds of diff grips. I'm not sure where your comfort zone is with pain but, thankfully, grips don't get too costly. ;w;

I get a lot of thumb wear and tear. It makes typing on the phone nearly impossible. Legitly using voice typing nowadays. Ugh.

I use a grip for writing and drawing since my hands are so bad with pressure. Nothing but pain... Ah. I do also have a hand exercise image too. I'll have to find it, but these grips are Pencil 'Egg' Grips that I cut in the center to fill a pen/pencil/whatever. They're under $10 on Amazon for a 6pk.
