Better yet first clarify the matter of who actually PAID the money for the tariffs. A lot of Americans seem to think other countries have.
Then find out where it went.

the US treasury has collected almost 1 billion in tariffs so far. Correct me if I'm wrong. But for the most part, isn't that money paid for by Americans on goods received, rather than the importing country? Therfore wouldn't that mean it's money taken from its own citizens, not other countries

I'm wondering if the whole thing is a scam to force farmers to sell. They could be bought up by those billionaire owned factory farms . . .just a thought
