This hat says it all.
My next painting is nicely taking shape. I love painting boats. There are so many lines, shadows and reflections to consider and if you don't get them exact it is really noticeable, but l love them once they're finished.

Starting to add colored gazes to the Sunflower piece. This is the easiest and most rewarding part of grisaille painting. It just seems to rise off the canvas and turn 3D.
