This gets at what bothers me about ChatGPT too: there's no variance in tone, no shifts in emphasis or contrasting complex paragraphs with blunt single-sentence statement grafs, no sense of how it all lays on the page. It's just a fucking relentless drone that fills any amount of space until it stops

The coolest part about games media layoffs is how all the severance packages now include an NDA requiring laid off employees to stay silent about the layoff, further suppressing reporting on the same corporate behaviours those outlets likely cover when it’s dame devs/publishers.

I love sunlight. It's the most beautiful, precious accident of cosmic placement. It makes photography possible. It warms my skin and makes things grow. I love how it colours the clouds and renders every cloud different. I love the shade of green that leaves take on when sunlight gets 'em from behind

i remember life pre-transition as interacting with the world from inside a prison of frosted glass; every interaction was mediated by a translucent yet impermeable barrier. shattering that glass left me covered in cuts and scratches, but i'm out in the open now, vulnerable but free.
