Finished the last book in the Secret Bookcase Mystery series and dang, I'm gonna miss them. This didn't wrap up QUITE as exciting as I had hoped but I still had fun! 3/5 stars for this last installment. 💙📚

Everything is terrible but my friends gave me B&N gift cards for my birthday and I got new horror books. So at least I have an escape. 💙📚

Anyway I promised to try to relax today and so I'm getting lost in MASTERS OF DEATH by @olivieblake.bsky.social and absolutely loving every second of it. The writing is fabulous, the banter witty, and the story is so much fun! 💙📚

I'm #currentlyreading this book and honestly I'm so on the fence about it. The concept of this story is pretty cool, but man I don't know if I like the characters. I'm halfway through though, so on we go! 💙📚

Today's #bookreview is of A VICTIM AT VALENTINE'S by Ellie Alexander. If you're a fan of cozy mysteries, small town vibes and Agatha Christie inspired stories this series is for you! This installment was really adorable too. 💙📚

This was pretty good. Not quite the ending I hoped for, but it was eerie enough to give me the shivers. 💙📚

My twice monthly CSA box arrived and man I am loving all these colors ❤️. I've become such a fan of beets because of these boxes.

Wandered the South Coast Botanic Garden today as our late Valentine's Day celebration. Hubs knows I'm a fan of being outside in nature. It was such a nice day!

It's Oathsworn day and I can't explain to you how much this has been healing after this week. Making party decisions, creating dumb songs and chants, laughing so hard I cried. HEALING.

A new #bookreview is now up! THE RESURRECTIONIST by A. Rae Dunlap was a wholly enjoyable historical fiction novel. Balancing friendship, intrigue, and budding love, it does a lot and it does it well! 💙📚

Took a break last night, had tea, went to bed early, rallied for today. I finished THE RESURRECTIONIST by A. Rae Dunlap this morning and I really enjoyed this one. A bit macabre of course (isn't it obvious) but a lot of fun too. Review coming soon! 💙📚

I'm #currentlyreading this bad boy, and the opening chapter is narrated by Keanu Reeves! 🤩 I'm half reading/half listening because this is pretty heavy sci-fi. 💙📚

Dear library, I love you so!

I just looked and in 2024 I borrowed 72 books. If you average $18 a book, the library saved me over $1,000. Damn.

Here's to more reading and borrows in 2025! 💙📚
