When anti-Semites claim to be fighting anti-Semitism they trivialize a very real problem and thereby deliberately make it worse. Attacking universities was always about spreading anti-Semitism, not combatting it.

It's sad that I agree with the reasons American Atheists withdrew from hosting the World Humanist Congress. This is likely just the start - how many thousands of business, scientific, and cultural conferences will avoid the US for the foreseeable future?
It simply is no longer viable for us to hold the 2026 World Humanist Congress in Washington DC as planned, with the US in the state it is. Delighted to announce that we will instead be hosted by the wonderful people of Ottawa, Canada!
