For my Washington folks, Maria Cantwell's DC office is accepting phonecalls, I just left a quick five minute message with a very patient and kind staffer. The number is on her contact site
if you have democrat rep/senators i recommend calling and reminding them you will never vote for them again if they bend the knee on this. shutting down the government is the correct choice. that is the exact phrasing in my 3 calls and it took 5 min total
