If all you've got is an informal non-prosecution agreement, you don't want to be committing crimes with a statute of limitations that reaches beyond 2028

Yeah. This is a good-old-fashioned MAGA tradition by now, a decade in. Regular people fucking around as if they can act like Trump and his crew act in public, and then finding out in a real serious way that they CAN'T.

All jokes aside, Musk directly running the country was always going to be the endgame of the American experiment. The combination of the obsession with small government and the worship of money above any principle inherent to our psyche led inexorably to this point.

My broader feeling is, if you are making a prediction about the next UK election, you are saying you can predict:
1) the consequences of Trump's second term
2) how exactly the CCP will respond to 1)
3) whether there will be any geopolitical shocks and what their electoral outcome will be

It remains very much a long-shot that Reform (5) win more seats than the LibDems (72) at the next General Election.
That would be a more realistic difficult stretch target - being the third largest party in the Commoms - than all of the overexcited hype that Farage could be PM
