Griff Gristle sits pensive by a fishing spot, his line leading up into the air into a spectral sea, suspended in the sky. A series of panels of Griff trying to swim after a ghostly figure as a red mist rushes up from the ocean depths and engulfs him. Griff emerges in Purgatory, in the River Styx and is looked upon in a strange manner by Charon, the boatman of souls.
