To all the farmers I am currently passing on bridges with posters ‘One tax too far’, I agree.
Either you should be paying 40% or we should be paying 20%.

It was purely & simply a protest vote in Cornwall. Councillors elected for wards which were the other end of the county to their homes.
Add to that, most of them have no idea or interest in governance. As for Nolan …….. what’s that!

We can’t afford not to tax EV’s, the Govt says!
My car tax is £620 per year as the list price of my car was just over £40k (didn’t pay that for it 2nd hand).
I also pay 5% on my electric & pay a fortune when I charge away from home.
Happy to pay extra tax for services but please don’t tax EV’s.
