Battling s.a.d. with pretty colors. Almost makes the constant 20mph winds for a week bearable.

I prefer to watch swarming tickleflies than falling snow. Midges dont have mouth parts or spread disease, all they can do is tickle (and fly into your lungs). Theyre only flying adults for about a week while they gather to mate, lay eggs, and die. Theyre great polinators, and feed the birds and fish

Even love swimming with em. My dogs wear field guards to keep em from eating acorns and mushrooms and worms, and also helps em safely play with the turts in the water.
