Same lessons after the election still apply. Start local and inject sanity. Go to town meetings. Go to local community events. Talk to people. In person is what we need. You can use nextdoor to digitally reach neighbors, but use that to help you increase in-person contact.

We have a real chance to win the house back in 2026 with how quickly trump revealed the harm he intends to inflict on us all. A democrat in an iowa state senate race just beat the republican in a district that trump won +21. Trump lost the house in 2018. The same thing can happen again.

Is the goal to spike inflation? Milei in argetina used the previously terrible inflation to justify gutting the argetinian government. Inflation will drive wages and social services down by devaluing the currency just like in argentina. Rich people can insulate themselves from inflation.

He is the only one acting like he wants to win in 2025. Harris's short campaign just could not reach low info voters in their tiktok bubbles. She needed more time. Anyone wanting to win in 2026 and 2028 needs to be advertising themselves already. Time allows you to reach more people.

That is not what happened. Trump didn't even get above 50% of the total vote. Harris was known by people paying attention. The short campaign had no time to reach the low info voters. People recognized trump's name. They did not recognize harris at all. She wasn't campaigning the last 4 years.

He is the only one currently running. Harris lost due to name recognition. People paying attention know who she is, but people in their own bubbles that consume no news or current events outside of tiktok weren't reached. The lack of a primary took away needed time. Running for 2028 started nov 6th.

As a guy who codes, your post is pretty normal. Some walls just destroy wifi and even in open areas, range can somehow suck. Only generic tip I can give is make sure everything has its firmware updated, especially network equipment like wifi access points. Sometimes it can make a difference.

Just remember, being against someone is much less effective than being for someone. Start spreading the name of challenger today. We have 2 years to build name recognition for better candidates so we don't get another election controlled by low information voters who pick any name they recognize.

This is because Harris's short campaign could not reach low information voters. Nationally, low info voters barely knew who Harris was. This explains why some dems in other races did better than Harris. They advertised themselves locally for a longer period of time.

A short campaign was a bad idea. It allowed the low information voter to choose the presidency and they chose the name they recognized, good or bad. Harris ran a good campaign, but did not have the time to build a ground game across more rural areas.

This is what we needed more of. Harris's short campaign just didn't have the time to reach low information voters. Time is the one thing no amount of effort could overcome. Harris effectively lost due to name recognition of trump by low information voters.

The crazy thing is that crops and animals we eat have all been genetically modified for thousands of years. Selective breeding was used, this is man made genetic manipulation. I don't get why the blunt hammer of selective breeding is good, but the scalpel of direct genetic manipulation is bad.

It is simpler than that. Trump captured the low information voter by flooding social media with musk's money. People who don't pay attention to news or politics vote Trump based on name recognition. (No such thing as bad publicity). Harris's short campaign just didn't have the time to match it.

Someone has to show up and report on Trump. Corporate media sucks, but I would rather MSNBC keep reporting and maintaining a presence. Do we only want right wing media reporting on Trump when it comes to traditional press conferences? There won't be any facts.

The starter packs on here are absolutely brilliant. In a matter of minutes, I am following way more good quality posters than I had ever followed on Twitter. Creating and promoting starter packs of high quality posters will help with all of these efforts.

Isn't it a fact that the campaign was a good one? How much can we say was a failure by Harris vs a successful strategy by Trump. I feel the low information voter is choosing the presidency now. Trump used Musk's money and social media to reach people who don't consume any news content at all.

Nice sentiment, but someone less dishonest needs to cover the Trump admin within corporate media. MeidasTouch and others do a lot, but keep in mind, they often use reports from sources like morning Joe for their info. Would you rather MSNBC shut down and we rely on fox news to report facts instead?
