I think what doesn’t help is that literally everyone I know is playing Marvel Rivals - and while I enjoy it, that’s not all I want to play lol. So it’s like. If I’m not down for Rivals, I’m just playing games alone

The one thing I do like about reading older sci-fi is just having the realization that another work you like is just full of references / re-interpretations of older stuff. Imitation is flattery and the like.
