Yesterday I started a long travel day at 2:45 CEST that ended in a very nice evening chat at 21:30 EST.
While I am not so much jet lagged, my brain is a bit surprised about, that it is pitch black dark outside at 5:30.

Fast ne Stunde nach Sonnenuntergang und 2,5 vor Sonnenaufgang (3:02) ist es noch recht hell.
Aber auch ein wunderschöner Himmel über Korsvika.

Aber ich habe im Zug sowohl WLan als auch immer 5G - und hab das erste Mal 1. Klasse gebucht; die hat so viel Beingreiheit, dass ich da gar nicht an die Wand komme.
Und der Sitz hat ne Liege-Funktion. Ich arbeite aber trotzdem ein wenig.

As dem Leben von #IchwarHanna - ja, ich bin heute um 3:30 aufgestanden, um zur nächsten Botschaft zu fliegen (1h) für Passangelegenheiten, ja, die Sonne war da schon wach (siehe Bild), und nun geht es mit dem Zug 7h zurück…
In ner halben Stunde geht die Sonne unter, aber sie verschwindet dann schon mal hinter den Bergen im Norden. #Fjordgrüße

Für halb 9 ist es auch noch eine sehr hohe Sonne da so in Nordwest; sie geht hier grad wirklich im Norden unter und auf.

As an addendum. The opposing great arcs look even a bit nicer when they are a quarter of the length of the equator apart and the camera is centered. Could probably even improved when choosing pink colors. 🥰

Continuing both, we see that though both “start the same direction” as parallel lines would, we already see both “walk north”. And indeed, they do meet at the North pole! If we start in “opposite directions”, they meet as well, just one needs “a longer way”, walking 3/4th of earth 7/10

But what about parallel lines? Let's take the construction from the fifth axiom – from one of our lines, the equator, we take two 90 degree angles and follow again the curves in the idea of “walking directions”, parallel in the sense of “same direction” – both walk north 6/10

Looking at the image of the (Euclidean or) flat triangle, we see a line parallel to the line segment connecting B and C. Parallel means, that these two lines never meet, or in other words, they do not intersect. We can also say, they have same or exactly opposite “walking” direction. 2/10
