I need to sell some of my ukes too. I don't play them nearly enough to justify having all of the ones I do have.

Holmes Basic was how I started D&D. My first set came with chits and no dice. I didn't know anything about D&D at the time. I cut up those chits and placed them in cups and then tried to figure out the rules by playing solo.

I didn't know the white box sets were released that early. I have a 5th print. It still has 'hobbits' instead of 'halflings.' And, there is the description of a Balrog. Thanks for posting for these pics. It's fun seeing what you have.

I have a copy of this one - 8th printing. It's falling apart but I got it signed by Rob Kuntz and artist Greg Bell!

I have copies of 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th printings. I think that's enough for me for now. I have to balance my budget carefully - it's very up and down in my line of work. Perhaps, at some point, if fortune smiles on me, I might get a copy of each print.

Yes, it's really a separate area of interest. I guess I'm into both roleplaying and wargaming, but definitely more heavily into roleplaying.

Have you ever run a game using Chainmail with OD&D? I still haven't yet but I'm curious to try. I have a fascination with history (and with D&D of course).
