Played this analog mystery game by @smolghost.bsky.social last night! Had a blast figuring out what happened as we explored envelopes, sketches, floor plans, photos, newspaper clippings etc., getting increasingly sucked in and excited as the story unfolded. Tight game design all around!

@dodoot.bsky.social's Kabuto Park is delightful. It honestly reminds me of what summers used to feel like as a child — especially the unbridled joy of being able to lose track of time exploring the knuckle of woods in my sun-soaked backyard, filling my pockets with cool rocks and leaves.

I might have been the only games grantee, but it was great to meet folks with different creative practices at @masscultural.bsky.social's event!
Would highly recommend MA-based #gamedev / #TTRPG folks to look into the grant for future years — it's a completely unrestricted $5,000 award!
