Disabled ghostwriter, immigrant in France, renovating an old stone house, occasionally talk about chronic health issues, mostly post pics of Ron, Teddy and Lola, former catmum to Bob, Lapin and Alice - and when energy permits I swim in beautiful places.
Still no sign of Ronald. Am broken in a million pieces. To lose 3 such amazing cats within 6mths and not have a clue happened to them all seems beyond bad luck.
Thankfully I do have this beautiful girl to helpe me through it.

Lovely cuddle with Queen Cleopurrtra before bed (and a few at other times today, too) but in typical fashion when one thing is going spectacularly right, another has to go wrong - and Ron has nott been in since about the early afternoon, which for a lad run by his tum is very worrying!

Queen Cleopurrtra, the first of her name, deigned to grace me with her presence this morning. She partook of some scent-marking, a few scrunchies, lots of loud purrs and demanded plenty of cuddles and strokes!

Queen Cleopurrtra had a good first night. She came out from her spot behind the bath a few times to explore while the house was quiet. She checked out her sleeping options, had some food, proved Queens poop, and made sure she was beautiful!

She did come out of her basket and hid under the sink briefly, then realised the little cat house might be a better spot to hide in.

And gorgeous Cleo doesn't quite know what to make of her new digs! Ron was around when we got back and showed calm curiosity while she was in the cat basket, then started mewing and pawing at the bathroom door once I took her inside!

First the bad news. My baby Lola is not well. She stopped eating, was really listless, temperature dropped but no signs of respiratory infection or stomach upset. She did manage a bit of milk and a few licks of kitten pate while I was there, and seemed a little bit more active, but off to vets now 🤞

Well, it's #caturday and also #catcollectionday here. Ron had a relaxing evening in front of the fire (looks so strange him being there alone) and snuggled all night in bed. Be aware, there will be cat spam after 1pm!!

Have prepared the bathroon ready for our gorgeous tortie lady's arrival tomorrow. She has a swanky new condo, a basic cottage, a donut, a comfy cushion or a squishy covered bed to choose from and lots of toys and things to amuse her. Hope she'll like it 🤞

When I went to meet the new bebbies, & when I went to visit earlier this week, this gorgeous lady made it very clear she liked me a lot. Because I'd fallen for the floofs, I tried to be strict. But she's been overlooked for months, so she comes home Saturday! ❤️
