Hey y'all,

Currently on hiatus! I've actually been on one since the end of the October series, but realized I forgot to say anything.

One or two pieces might sneak their way out, but there's a good chance that it'll be this way until January.

Cheers!

Leading up to this year's October series, I wanted to reshare the first one I did a few years ago, and sort of set the tone I wanted to go with for runs going forward!

This year's Lovecraft Film Fest was a hoot, and I daresay a holler.

Between the various shorts, panels, and readings, I always walk away feeling like I learned something about the shit I love making.

As a horror writer, if you are going to put something in that you feel requires a content warning:

That's fine and good, but really take a minute to think about what you are buying with that content before you spend it.

Making up for last year's festival; I am buying things like some sort of well off, haunted roomba.

Working on the next book collection, and one of the feedback things I got was that they wanted more suspense (by @charlenakea.bsky.social , who is now on here-- follow her and look at her ko-fi.).

Anyway, had a positively vorpal story idea. So when it pits your gut, blame them ☺️.

I'll be attending the 30th Anniversary HP Lovecraft Film Festival tonight, and through this weekend! If you see a guy wearing a Roll For Writing jacket or shirt, it's probably me. Come say hi for a prize!

The prize is talking to a startled, drunk, or startled & drunk writer.
