After David Lynch used my apartment to shoot some of INLAND EMPIRE, he stayed in touch via random phone calls. Every one of them was a treasure. His art has been part of my life since I was a child.

The world just got a little less weird, and we are all poorer for it.

Fix your hearts or die.

David Lynch was absolute proof that you can build a whole life out of being yourself without compromise or conformity. A true original front to back.

Horror is an absolute blast to make. So much freedom, so much acceptance from the audience. And the people that make it on the regular are almost entirely awesome. And as a community, we drum the assholes and abusers out so it stays that way.

As mentioned in my previous reshare, since all these official #Nosferatu reviews are popping up, here are some more meager thoughts from me since I don’t get to have review fun anymore. Lol
No joke, I was in tears for the final 15 minutes of this film; it hit me THAT hard. I have loved everything from Robert Eggers thus far but #Nosferatu is his magnum opus. This one immediately imprinted itself in my heart & soul. I loved it so freaking much.

You know what? I know it wouldn't have made a difference but I never forgave Mike for kicking the map in the creek. I was pissed at him when I was a child, I'm still pissed at him in my 30s. #theblairwitchproject #filmsky 🎬

He is back. #fatherjohnmisty 's #mahashmashana is a tour de force. Is that how they say it? Anyway it's the best I've listened to this year. Yes it is. Yes it is. #music

Just watched #heretic. Does religious horror/faith very well. It had big shoes to fill in that department (The Exorcist, Signs, Martyrs) and gets it right. Jabs a little in post modern beliefs in a great scene that shows that Mr Reed goes online as well. Loved it. It stays with you.

It's here! @secondsightfilms.bsky.social limited edition of #theblairwitchproject. Comparing it to the version we've been seeing all these years (also included for that nostalgia factor) we become aware of what we've been missing. It was already a spectacular film but now it's a masterpiece. 1/2

Gladiator II is very good. Bigger, bolder, dares to go beyond the merciful hero / saint trope. Every one gets to show off incredible acting chops but Denzel Washington shines. Yes there are sharks. And yes, they should also get a nomination. #moviesky 🎬 #gladiator2 #gladiatorII

I remember begging my mom to buy it on VHS when I was like 12. A year or so before I also saved up for the book/dossier tie in before I even watched it. I can't believe I got one right before it sold out #theblairwitchproject

It will never cease to amaze me how many clues Wes Craven left about Harvey Weinstein in Scream 3. It makes the film have a depth that wasn't there before #scream3
