I don’t want to sound pessimistic nor negative but I don’t expect any positive results before these games ends, may be against struggling Villa. My hope is it will get better after that 🤞🏼 #LFC

I wish to be wrong.
I must say, this will be tough so buckle up #LFC we catch our breath after that.

😬 Brutally honest from Andy Robertson's after #LFC's loss to Brentford as he admits they failed to follow their gameplan.

🗣️ "We’ve worked on the long-throw and five minutes in you concede three long throw-ins. One of them you concede from. You play into their hands. Nowhere near good enough."
Andy Robertson makes honest Liverpool admission - 'There's no structure'
Andy Robertson offered a brutally honest assessment of Liverpool's 3-2 defeat to Brentford after Arne Slot's side slipped to another Premier League loss

“But then you’re 3-1 down and it’s just about throwing bodies forward and it becomes chaotic. There’s no structure to it which is never good.

“We get a goal, okay. We try and push and nearly score right at the end but, to be honest, if we got a draw today it would have probably flattered us.” #LFC

I hope someone from PR team gives him some advice. 🤦🏽‍♂️
🚨 Arne Slot: “The teams have a certain playing style against us, which is a very good strategy to play against us. And we have not found an answer yet”. “Also, it’s not an excuse, but playing so many games away didn’t help”.

What a goal. What a finish. Yes, hes not on form but some of the shit some of our so-called fans have said about him has been scandalous #LFC

I’m cool with everything and him taking all the time needed but losing the ball 9 times and the miss-pass will def hurt us.
Slot needs to address it on training ground.

Mo Salah has now started each of Liverpool's last 50 Premier League games.

He's the first forward to start 50+ consecutive league games for #LFC since Ian Rush from February 1986 to May 1987 (56).

Sunderland are second in the Premier League.

Chemsdine Talbi's 93rd-minute winner gives Regis Le Bris' side victory against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

It was their toughest test of the season so far. But Sunderland just keep on surprising the Premier League — they are taking it by storm.

Sunderland have conceded just six goals since their return to the Premier League and Dutch goalkeeper Robin Roefs has impressed between the sticks.

Robin Roefs: the most underrated goalkeeper in the Premier League this season?
If newly promoted Premier League teams want to stay in the top flight more than a single season these days, they need to do two things in particular: spend money well, and be capable of clean sheets. Sunderland look to have nailed both in the same transfer.

Sunderland's last Premier League win against Chelsea came back in 2014, and it was a record-breaking one. They ended José Mourinho's 77-game unbeaten home record in the Premier League with a 2-1 win. (Squawka)
