Yeah I can agree with you on that, not looking for a heated debate just saying what I see from the outside, the fact fans are having these debates about it all is the reason I think it’s all a bit embarrassing for the club. I still think the contracts get sorted but didn’t have to be so messy imho

Like I said it’s all negotiation tactics but the fact this is happening in December , with 6 months left on his contract suggests to me that they aren’t close to signing the deal and Salah is upping the pressure. I dont have sources, I just use common sense and Im allowed to think it’s embarrassing

Your whole initial post was no one knows apart from the club and Salah, I point out Salah has spoken (one of the people you say knows what’s going on) and now you’re the one acting like you have the behind the scenes scoop and you know what’s what, not Salah. Absolutely contradicting yourself lad.

Hahaha what’s the need to patronise me? If it was all going swimmingly then why wouldn’t he stay quiet and it will be wrapped up soon. Hughes has been in for 6 months now so what’s the hold up to get the agreement in place, and if it was going well, why would Salah be putting pressure on the club

One of our all time greats has been left in limbo with 6 months left on his contract and obviously no good breakthrough behind the scenes otherwise why would he speak to the media. I think it’s far more embarrassing for the club to have found themselves in this position in the first place

That’s obviously the play here but it’s still a bit embarrassing for a club that pride themselves on keeping everything in house, to have your best player having to speak through the media during a season where we look very strong for the title.

I just watched salah saying he’s not had a formal offer still and he’s more out than in. Obvs a good negotiating tactic but is that not a good enough source of information from the man himself with his own words?

Just a shit show isn’t it, I signed up to read about Liverpool and other random stuff I liked and now I just see looneys, OF girls and some horrible stuff on my timeline constantly. Depressing so hoping this is more like the twitter of old 🙌
