The mere fact that the election was even close should be a wake-up call for every American who still believes in decency, the Rule of Law and a healthy and vibrant America. This moment will be remembered not just as a political crossroads, but as a deep and lasting stain on the soul of our republic. How did we get here ? We’re witnessing the return of a man who’s worked for Putin for decades. He incited a violent mob to attack the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to overturn the certification of your votes. He didn’t just violate norms, he tried to destroy the very foundations of our democratic representative constitutional republic. And yet, he’s FOTUS. This isn’t just a political failure. It’s a moral collapse, a civic crisis, and a damning indictment of a society that allows willful ignorance and cult-like loyalty to overpower truth, law, and decency. Historian Professor Timothy Snyder warned, “Post-truth is pre-fascism.” When lies become more powerful than facts, when corruption is normalized, and when authoritarianism is rebranded as “strength,” America dies, often not with a bang, but with the silent consent of a misled public. I’ve reached the point where I’m worn down, not from weakness, but from exhaustion. Exhausted from trying to be a voice of reason and a voice of truth. A voice for our Democratic Representative Constitutional Republic. Since 2015, Donald Trump has shown us exactly who he is. He’s told us, repeatedly. And yet, with the help of a relentless psychological warfare campaign, driven by foreign adversaries and amplified by propaganda machines, tens of millions still chose to follow him, not despite the danger, but because of it. 77,503,363 Americans willingly handed over their birthright, the legacy of a 249-year-old democratic representative constitutional republic, without so much as a basic understanding of the history that should’ve warned them of what was coming. No study. No curiosity. No vigilance. Just blind loyalty, fueled by fear, resentment, and lies. Now the billionaires and their corporations, modern-day American oligarchs, control the levers of power. They’ve bought our media, influenced our courts, and corrupted our institutions. The people were told this would happen. We warned them. And they sat back. Let history be your teacher, tyranny never gives up power peacefully. It must be challenged, exposed, and if necessary torn down. Not with violence, but with courage, unity, and the unbreakable will of a people who refuse to be ruled. If we don’t fight for liberty now, our children and grandchildren will curse the moment it was given away. Another history lesson, ignored. Tyranny doesn’t always arrive in jackboots, it often comes dressed in suits and wrapped in flags. When a man stands at a podium and dares to say Nazis treated Jewish prisoners with “love”, in front of the Prime Minister of Israel, no less, we are witnessing the normalization of the unthinkable. History has already shown us what happens when people stay silent. Ignoring it is what the Germans did. Now, the alarm bells are blaring again. The rhetoric is dangerous. Gratitude for our representatives in the trenches,
Thanks Chris, Eric…..One day, America will look back and realize that it didn’t appreciate or thank you enough, Chris Murphy, Eric Swalwell aren’t alone, There are others, Jamie, Raskin, and Corey Booker, Liz Cheney, who sacrificed her career to stand for the constitution. All of them sacrificed, spoke out, and stood tall when it would’ve been easier to stay silent and cash in. While America slept, our enemies and adversaries flooded MSM, social media, podcasts, cable TV… with slander, propaganda, conspiracy theories, misinformation, and text book authoritarian psychological warfare. Targeting the very people who dared to speak the truth. Many of their family’s have endured a living hell, facing threats from some of the most vile and dangerous actors imaginable. Just think about walking a mile in their shoes, every step shadowed by danger, every word of yours twisted and weaponized against you. And still, they stand Strong. Unshaken. Unbought. They continue to speak truth to power, not for fame or applause, but because the people who put their trust in them matter to them. They’re fighting for them. For their families. For a future that honors decency, dignity, and democracy. As a Veteran, father and grandfather, I can tell you, there’s no greater heartache than knowing your loved ones are suffering because you chose to do what’s right. But there’s also no greater calling than standing firm when the storm comes. And they’re still standing. Many of us were warning the country back then, raising red flags. But not enough people were listening. And just when our voices were gaining ground, this platform’s algorithms began shadow banning our posts and editorials. Here we are now. White-collar crime has become the hallmark of the billionaire cabal masquerading as the people’s federal government. Instead of deploying forensic accountants to uncover the very corruption and waste they endlessly spew on national TV. They manipulate, exploit and siphon resources from our institutions for their own enrichment. They do not serve the people, they serve themselves. This is not governance; it is organized looting at the highest levels. Our democracy has been infiltrated by those who see public service as a means to private gain. The White House, a symbol of American Honor, strength and integrity has fallen into the hands of those who treat it as their personal empire. Our Constitution is more than just a document,
Friends, allowing any corrupt or authoritarian figure to assume control over our institutions would be an affront to the principles enshrined in the Constitution. Our founders established a system of checks and balances precisely to prevent the concentration of power and protect our democracy from tyranny. The Constitution is more than just a document; it’s the foundation of our democratic republic, designed to uphold justice, liberty, and equality. As citizens, we have a duty to protect and preserve these values. The Constitution empowers “We the People” to stand against corruption and authoritarianism through voting, civic engagement, and advocacy. Upholding the Constitution means not only respecting its principles but actively working to prevent anyone from undermining the freedoms it guarantees. In a representative Democratic Constitutional Republic vigilance is key. Failing to act when democracy is threatened would be to risk the very liberties that define our nation. What an absolute disgrace. “So, you want me to believe that you voted for a racist, rapist, convicted felon, business fraud who incited a deadly attack on our Capitol after losing the last election because of the price of eggs? That you voted for the orange-dipped dude who ran with a different VP because the last one was nearly hanged for not breaking democracy, because you’ve been getting fewer hours at your job these days? You want me to believe that you voted for someone who nearly every economist in the world has said will grow our debt (which he did by the third largest amount ever the last time), increase our costs, raise inflation and destroy our GDP because a burger and fries at Five Guys is more expensive than it used to be?
