this unsettling article makes me think we all need to do more music recommendations to each other - i do my “best of” list every year but i am frequently extremely late with it and maybe it’s a little overload to hit people with 20-25 albums - anyways, ai music is two thumbs down from me

I’m certainly not an expert in TX law but it sounds a lot like kidnapping what they’re doing to TX State Rep Nicole Collier and other TX Democrats. If confining a person who refuses to sign a waiver isn’t illegal, then it should be. (of course, legality has hardly stopped the kidnappings here in CA)

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

U.S. military is required to disobey illegal orders. The question is where that order would begin: The first officer to get it would have to be the one to say no. This is why both Esper and Milley stopped this at the top in 2020.
