Just going to pin these 2 graphs until the Republican Party reconciles itself with democracy.

I know, I’m going to wait for a long while
The threat of China’s power—economic and military—pales in comparaison to the threat of democratic backsliding and the rise of a neo-fascistic political class in the US.

Nothing China could do to us would be worse than what we could do to ourselves.
This is a wild framing.

The US can dominate everywhere in the world except 7000 miles away at an island 100 miles off another superpower’s coast.

Remember how the right & Republicans went apeshit crazy on Michele Obama’s diet and health initiative “Let's Move!”?
NEW: Dr. Oz is quite literally telling his federal employees to eat less.

“You don't have to try every cookie on the holiday table,” wrote Mehmet Oz in an email to all Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services employees.

“Under our laws, under international law—and under moral law—we have no right to give anything away…That is what we are fighting for,” said Zelensky

And if I may add, that land is not Zelensky’s to give. It belong to past, present & future generations of Ukrainians. He has no right to give it away
Zelensky rules out ceding land to Russia, refusing to bow to Putin or Trump
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said his country would not give up territory, not to hasten peace talks, not to satisfy Washington and not under pressure from Moscow.

So, Trump slaps ungodly tariffs on agricultural (and industrial) goods, then turns around and cuts a $12 billion dollar check to subsidize farmers.

Am I getting right?

We are doing ISI, import-substitution industrialization, but in a very dumb way.

Serious question to football ⚽️ fans: is there an alternative (in English) to watch the World Cup other than Fox?

I physically cannot take a month of Alexi Lalas (& the other moron, Rob Stone, & their game commentators) spewing blood boiling stupidity?

Is it possible to subscribe to a UK channel?

A serious question: what’s the point of having a Supreme Court as a check on the executive and/or the legislative if its main purpose is to give full control to the executive over the legislative and the judiciary to overturn decades and decades of precedents?

This SCOTUS must be urgently upended
Gorsuch leaning in to "actually, all these agencies are unconstitutional in their entirety"

Gorsuch is very much not on board with "sever this and let the executive control it"

Folks, we might be walking out of this without any executive agencies at all

My take, after a quick read, of this national security strategy: bonkers!

It reads as if they put together Trump’s tweets, & added some fillers here and there, which might very well be how they did it.

And Rubio signed on this?!

Yup, bonkers!

I feel like workout areas in the airports would push @radiofreetom.bsky.social to his limits 🤣

Watch out, Tom might just start a rebellion
Duffy on what he's doing to improve the airport experience for travelers: "Maybe I want a workout area where people might get some blood flowing doing some pull ups or step ups in the airport."

They are doing a great job on cutting cost, don’t they?
Duffy: "I don't have a plan to reduce costs."

And yet, this reactionary SCOTUS will side with Trump on this one.

Just watch

Sorry, France, Senegal, Norway (not Croatia)
Here are the World Cup groups.

At first glance, I don’t particularly see a group of death, though 1st matches tend to create that dynamic.

Maybe Group I with France, Senegal & Croatia… that’s a tough group.

She does not understand that what she did was absolutely wrong because she lacks the moral and ethical standards to understand the gravity of her actions and behavior.

You don’t lose your morals & ethical standards overnight. I think she never had them.

Again, this hypothetical reasoning can apply to anything.

Wounded battlefield prisoners? Finish them off with a bullet to the head bc hypothetically they can either escape capture or be released & come back to kill you.

You really have to be a psychopath to enjoy killing people—even the most atrocious people—& be gleeful about it.

If the legal standard for finishing them off is, "theoretically they could be rescued then at some future time they could theoretically try to run drugs on some other boat", let's just drop the pretense and acknowledge U.S. policy is that we come back to kill the shipwrecked and the wounded
December 5, 2025 at 2:23 AM
How do we know for certain that these boats are coming to the US?
SOUTHCOM announces another boat strike.

Notable that the Pentagon carried out this strike on the same day that Adm. Bradley appeared before members of Congress to defend the Sep. 2 strike.

Do you know why the FIS—Islamic Salvation Front—won the 1991 legislative elections in a landslide?

No, it wasn’t because they promised shari’a and/or an Islamic state. They won because they ran an unapologetic anticorruption campaign. Even drunks, thieves & pimps voted FIS in 1991.
If you DO NOT run on anticorruption platform in 2028, you have NO business being in politics.

Corruption moves/angers people. It is easily understood. It doesn’t require a sophisticated message.

Run on cleaning house & appointing special prosecutors to investigate every damn department & contract
This is a million times worse than anything Hunter Biden was accused of doing in even the most fevered right-wing conspiracy dream
