been looking into DAWs for it as well. my current one technically has a linux version, but it's an abandoned beta that was apparently hot garbage
i've tried Reaper before and it's pretty cheap, so that's an attractive option for financial reasons
but man, Bitwig looks REALLY nice...

from what i've read gaming on linux has actually gotten a lot more viable ever since the SteamDeck came along. plus for anything that absolutely won't work on linux, i've got a PS5
what i'm more worried about is trying to get my recording software, sample libraries, plug-ins, etc working on there
