*The regulation by social media companies of the ways in which non-citizen activists might organise protest or employ labour to moderate posts littered with disinformation;

*The performative social benefit of solidarity being rearticulated in ways that align with the nation-state’s bordering practices over time;

*The ontological insecurity of experiencing welcome (albeit on regulated terms) in a host society alongside unrelenting social media content from the front line;

*The interaction of overlapping political, funding and emotional abandonment (media framing, funding shifts, host relationships changing) as mutually contradictory or reinforcing;

I think - I may have misunderstood the system! - that media studies qualifies as being in the lowest of the "price groups" which receive additional funding for being high cost. But at that level the additional funding is so small - not much over £100 per student - that any saving here is tiny.
