It’s totally bullshit that anyone’s ever been made to feel bad for talking about this. It’s been a horrendous experience for every woman I’ve ever been with. It’s a fundamental part of life for about half the populace. I’m also tired of the joke about men not wanting to buy tampons. Grow up.

Yesterday I started a vacation that doesn’t end until the start of September. I’m so lucky. And I’m gonna camp for the first time with my 8 yo daughter.

This is all deeply illogical and bugs me to even though I have done the clapping in the theater before. But even while thinking it’s dumb, I feel like the audience is clapping for one another. “Wasn’t that a great experience?”

I wonder if he wanted to retain a piece because he thought it might be worth something. The irony is they had to release that movie outside of Miramax because he was afraid of Disney being mad.

I like Kevin Smith a lot, but, as an atheist, “It doesn’t matter what you believe in, you gotta believe in something” as the core message of the movie made me crazy. It really does matter!
