Midwesterner. Skeptical, particularly of "economic anxiety." Trying to stay open-minded but generally, they are who we thought they were. Michigan fan.
Very disrespectful to Beck.
If someone, who did not attend either one of these schools, is listening to the radio feed for this game -- they should ascend immediately to Sicko Platinum status or something.

"Couple of dudes"

Again, you're too focused on your own situation. You can either accept these literally thousands of priests, minister, and bishops (not to mention millions of parishioners) who are out there as allies or focus on something else.

Your call. Have a good one.

Oh, I didn't realize that one congregation of dozens of people represented everyone. My apologies.

But it's really not. I was using an example of a Christian leader who so famously put his money where his mouth is he died for it. He's not the first/last.

But FWIW, there have been literally hundreds of examples in the news, if you pay any attention, from the Pope on down in 2025.

Don't tell me. Tell it to the American car consumer that prefers large vehicles. That's the whole point -- it would be contentious as hell.

An ICE Chevy Equinox weighs under 4,000 lbs. If the EV alternative are basically 3 seaters & sub-compacts, American consumers will not do it.

It is absolutely not rare.

Get out of here with that cynical shit.

Well, her and the douche bag QB from my high school football team.

I still remember what you did, Steve!

While I generally agree, have fun with all the leftists, environmentalists etc who would fight that tooth & nail, as even "compact" EVs like the KIA EV6 weigh over 4,000 lbs.

It would be a woke vs woke battle royale.

"The Gospel of Jesus's Wife" was bullshit, but I have not heard of "Nazi Jihad" and I gotta admit...that's a great title, and I'd like to check it out.

Flawless delivery. The joke has been honed to a fine edge.

Oh yeah, I don't think he should be worried about his job prospects (assuming he plans to stay in the political world)

There *is* a small chance this will majorly backfire on him, bc he is a Brit and MAGA might just kick him out on principle. But he'll have to see if the leopard is on the prowl.

But notably, *still* the party of lying!

It is, technically, ephebophilia which I suppose is useful as people over use "pedo" too much. More than one thing can be wrong.

But fifteen is not "barely legal" -- it's illegal! Full stop!

And that's before we get into the coercion etc he used.

When I finally left cable for YouTubeTV 3 years ago, a huge change was not having channels.

I have gotten used to it, but I still don't like it. I would have chosen DirectTV Stream (or whatever it's called now) bc it still had channels, but it was too expensive. Now they're all too expensive!

Just another sign of desperation by TSLA. Their problems aren't solved by this.

I don't like GM phasing out CarPlay, but from a financial standpoint it makes sense. Cars are increasing just tech on wheels and whoever controls the dash controls the car (and gets the money).

Dude already vaporized (or at least hid) his LinkedIn, so he's at least feeling some short-term impact.

The opportunity is a "communication" one -- a chance for a lib billionaire to hire dozens of talented folks for a new media platform (e.g., a website; w newsletters; w TikToks & YT news shows)

But it will likely lose $10M+ a year. Still, far better than spending that on "issue" TV ads in 2028.

Yes, there is really not an obvious "business" opportunity. It would take billions of dollars to try and replicate CBS, CNN, etc but do it in a way that provides more fair & informative news.
