As for modding the game, my favorite thing about it is that you could theoretically do any character swap mod, and it'd still make sense in-universe due to the crossworlds thing.

Will admit I was somewhat worried about the game at first due to the fact Sonic Team was developing it in-house (as it'd been a long time since they did the Riders games) as opposed to Sumo Digital
Then I played the ONT and basically all of my worries went away
