Facing a quilt in four photos. #quiltsky
Photo shows four triangles made from folded squares as well as four binding strips made from 2.5” strips folded lengthwise right sides together. Photo shows a triangle aligned with the corner of a quilt front, two binding strips laid overtop, clipped to the quilt Photo shows the binding strips and triangle now sewn to the quilt front, first with a 1/4” seam, folded and pressed away from seam, then sewn again with a 1/8” seam. The corner of the quilt is clipped slightly. Photo shows the binding strips and triangle flipped to the back of quilt. Strips are handsewn down but the triangle is left open to hold a thin wooden dowel. The dowel is also inserted through a fabric loop sewn onto the back of the quilt.

Emmett and I have been checking out free museum evenings around town. I was pleasantly surprised to see board games and kid-friendly activities set out at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic last night, and they even offered a free tour! #yhzsky
