I can’t see a path to things getting better that doesn’t involve them getting way worse first. I try not to give in to that despair but boy is that hard to do.

I would love to see someone envision future adaptations and share that vision.
And I get that may not be the job of scientists, but we need to somehow be able to imagine a different future, which I honestly can’t most days.

It was genuinely a really great place to get breaking news and also posts from regular people in an affected area. Especially if you can’t tolerate watching cable news anchors.
