Games Workshop just released the new Warhammer christmas boxes, which seem alright, but what the hell is up with the pricing?

They are priced at 155gbp in the UK, but for some reason they set it to 200€ in the EU, instead of the 175€ it would convert to.
What are they smoking

Little Zeta got stickers now.

Can barely pose him though because the hips are so loose, the heavy back keeps pulling him and its bad enough it even makes the legs move.

Time to move on to something more fun

RG Zeta completed!
Really not nearly as bad as i expected. The joints are fine once you see how they could break, whats worse is certain hip armor pieces being super loosely connected or breaking apart during assembly. Had to use some glue for them.
Now come the 150~ stickers…

Just saw "Man with a Mission" live and it was awesome. Fantastic show.
They also had a pre-band touring with them called "Hands like Houses" and they were also great. The lead had a fantastic voice.
Also got sweet merch

Big fan of bandai putting foldable highheels on the RG Zeta Gundam.

Its for when you have to look fabulous after battle

Its done. Took a while, but its done.
I will really go back to painting for a while after this.
Its still one of the coolest looking kits i have seen, but the pain of assembling this made me burnout from the hobby.

I just won't think of the still missing decals for now...

Have been quite burned out from plastic and gunpla lately, but i bought my first ipad and procreate.

Followed along a tutorial from James Julier and despite being my first time using all this, i think it turned out well.

Been a while, I really burned out on this kit.
Anyway here is his backpack. It’s heavy enough to pull his entire torso backwards and he has trouble standing now.

Absolute unit.

Is it truly Square Enix running this though? Your handle doesn't exist 🤔

Saw some waterchicken the other day.

He is standing!

And my fingers hurt
June 1, 2025 at 7:18 PM
Neck hurts, fingers are tingling, wrist is cramping and my skin and lungs are 70% microplastics.
But I finally finished cleaning up all the parts for the goose feet.
Took about 5 hours.

... some of these are literally so thick, they cracked the plastic after i pushed them in.
Saw similar things on the hands, lets see how long they will hold.

Arms acquired.
My fingers are sore. My mouth tastes plastic, my nose still smells burned plastic. I had to do so much sanding to make the pegs fit, because pretty much ALL of them were too thick.

On the plus side though, these joints will even withstand an earthquake. On the downside well...

You can’t get a perfect flush cut with these of course, but it’s really good still and you only need minimal sanding for the cleanup.

New Ruitools nippers arrived.
As usual the build quality is average, but they cut like butter and are pretty precise.
Not on a level of godhands of course, but they also only cost a fifth of them.

Really wish I could try the RM 4.0 and 5.0 too… and that they stop using AI boxart.

Another bi-annual update: here is a small pile of soon-to-be arms.

Went to a bookstore today.

I couldn’t resist

I do really like the back of the torso. You can see several hinges for articulation, allowing you to lean forward pretty far.
Its quite flexible despite its size
April 28, 2025 at 7:28 PM
Here is the waist. Its huge. This entire kit is huge and i don't really have small hands.
Also the buttflaps open up! Just a little wonky because if you arent careful then the entire top part becomes loose.
