What is the meaning of "sufficient" here?

e.g. along the lines of "All models are wrong, but some are useful"

I read this then as potentially "All definitions are insufficient, but some may facilitate research"

Is this the intended meaning? Or rather "Some definitions are insufficient..." ?

e.g. It could be interesting, to use an approach like this to create a broader dynamic/ongoing survey where one could cite a snapshot in time of the results - giving one an emergent definition from a specific social network for an important technical term

A focused subset of AI researchers on the definition of "intelligence". One systematic approach at least to investigate implicit consensus for language/knowledge - Perhaps a step towards an explicit ontology that researchers in the space could use/cite when writing

We got 303 survey responses from researchers. The most agreed-on criteria are generalization, adaptability & reasoning.
