The irony is palpable. I'm convinced that the "Tech Overlords" have banned Carole Cadwalladr's name from being shared anywhere. Trying to share her Ted Talk on FB gets this. every time!

At the steps down to Gwithian Beach in Cornwall is the sealed-off mineshaft to the old Wheal Emily copper and tin mine. Due to coastal erosion, an old mine truck on rails has appeared near the top of the cliff over the beach.

"Recent events in the world have left me in something of a standstill. I couldn't work for the past few weeks, sitting in front of the easel, cleaning the palette, and brushing the brushes, but I couldn't paint anything... I hope this small portrait will help me break free from this paralysis."
