Well, to be fair God, you were kind of a dick in the old testament.

They’re not ignoring them.

Wiping out small businesses is part of the plan. More monopolies for his ‘friends’.

Never implied there was. You have a very strange way of interacting in social media; arguing with the folks on the same side as you.

We’re only try to point out that most businesses will have no choice but to pass on the tariffs because that is how business works.

Sadly, that is why the bullies most often win.

Stores HAVE to raise prices if their costs go up. Businesses are not a charity.

I run a business. My margins afford me a living wage.

If the cost of my supplies go up, i can’t just eat the cost. I have to pass it on or I lose money. And yes, raising the prices sometimes loses me business.

To keep prices lower, i can work more hours myself and giving staff less hours.

It’s ‘moot point’.

They definitely shouldn’t have axed the Dept of Education.

Bankrupt smaller companies to increase market share.

You are under the assumption that rules and laws still apply.

The dollar is stronger than ever. Groceries are cheaper than ever. We’ve always been at war with Oceania.

You really have no idea how any of this works, do you?

This impacts Democrats and Republicans alike. This impacts the global economy. There is no upside to what is going down.

Don’t lump regular companies with large corporates.

Small companies run on tight margins and will be killed by these tariffs. The giant corps can weather the storm and consume the failed businesses, gaining a monopoly in the process.

Well, since i own a store….

I would like to be excited to vote for a change. I would have been excited to vote for Freeland, the most qualified candidate that was up for the job.

I will regrettably and reluctantly vote for the fucking centrist banker.

I’ve always been confused on this: Satan is the bad guy. He’s in charge of punishing the bad people.

Wouldn’t the person punishing bad people be the GOOD guy?

Its almost like its all made-up nonsense.

We’ve just finished Game 3. There is so much more narrative content then the first, and that’s saying a lot.

The overnight flip of Facebook from Generalized Evil Corporation Farming Your Data to Here’s Pro-Nazi Posts In Every Other Post In Your Feed was a little alarming.

Cambridge Analytica happened in the dark. The current evil is dancing in broad daylight.

As of January 2025, the entire purpose of social media is to get/keep you angry.

The fact that they DO retract supports their intent at truth.

Combine Snopes with a complete lack of actual news report and i suspect Coke did NOT fire thousands of migrant workers after inviting them to a free lunch.
