After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.

If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

The clear takeaway from Energy Analyst Mike Jacobs' study of data center transmission costs from earlier this fall is that data centers should pay for their grid connections—but instead, they’re passing them onto you. Total costs shifted to consumers in '24 was at least $4.3B in just 7 states.
Finally, Something Everyone Agrees On: Data Centers Should Cover Their Own Costs

Next week, Starbucks workers are going on strike. The California Labor Movement has their backs, and is proud to stand in solidarity with them as they fight for a fair contract. Remember: Don’t cross a picket line! #nocontractnocoffee
LET'S GET LOUD! 🗣️

On Starbucks's busiest sales day of the year, workers are holding rallies in 16 cities. And we need YOU there!

When customers and community members speak out, the company listens. Let's stand together against corporate greed and union-busting!

Higher education workers are out here in NYC at billionaire Marc Rowan's office to say: Hands Off Higher Education!

Rowan is an architect of Trump's loyalty oath compact & the assault on higher ed today.

The university belongs to the students, faculty & staff—not to the billionaires!

We need teachers, we need books, we need the money the billionaires took! Come out NYC!

I had totally missed that SF is issuing one-time prepaid grocery cards to CalFresh (ie, SNAP) beneficiaries. All CalFresh recipients in the city are supposed to get instructions in the mail this week.

It's one time, but great to see the city stepping in.

Everybody opposed to authoritarianism and oligarchy should needs to stand in solidarity with the Starbucks workers who are likely going on strike starting November 13

This is a winnable fight — but it'll take all of our support to help workers get past the finish line
BREAKING: After months of stonewalling by Starbucks, unionized baristas just voted 92% to authorize a ULP strike unless Starbucks finalizes fair contracts & stops union busting.

If forced, our baristas will strike in dozens of cities on November 13 – the company's busiest sales day of the year.
Starbucks unionized workers say they'll strike on Nov. 13 if coffee giant doesn't finalize contract
Union members say they are ready to strike on the chain's Red Cup Day if Starbucks doesn't finalize a contract with their union by then.
