Four years ago, I first ran for City Council because I saw the ways our communities were too often ignored by people in power.

Today, I’m proud to say I've stood by my promise to be a voice for the people and to organize alongside you.

2/ The tl;dr is, it’s good to have a hot Council race AND a good organizer Council Member. The 3 biggest surges were in @robin4mpls.bsky.social’s 2nd Ward: precincts 1/2/4 (Marcy/East Bank/Dinkytown) up 25%+. 2021 was a COVID year … but 300+ added votes went strongly to Robin. (Map below for ref.)

I am still reflecting on an incredible campaign and Election Day. Thank you again to all of the volunteers, staff, and voters who showed up for our socialist movement. Check out some highlights!

A testament to Robin's huge ground game especially talking to students. I was around for the competitive 2021 race and the field operation was impressive then, this was on another level

Elections are one tool in the democratic toolkit - yesterday it was voting, and tomorrow we will keep organizing. I am proud to have run this race with the support of @twincitiesdsa.org, and to continue building with my political home (Join DSA act.dsausa.org/s/3311.R6gRaz).

The corporate landlords in Minneapolis came for @robin4mpls.bsky.social because she puts PEOPLE before PROFIT.

LP is so happy that another one of our housing champions has been reelected to continue the fight for housing justice.

There is so much at stake today. I am up against $129,000 from conservative and Republican donors. I have a clear vision to protect our communities from Trump, to improve affordability and address key issues like food insecurity. We need you now more than ever.

Check out my sample ballot with recommendations from Mayor to BET. It's time to deliver!

I've had a lot of students ask me about registering to vote as a student! I'm here to let you know that if you have lived in Minneapolis for 20 days and meet the other requirements (you can find them on my website), you can cast your ballot here!

Join us tomorrow as we get out the vote with @ilhanmn.bsky.social and @omarfatehmn.com! In this final push, we need all hands on deck to elect a mayor who will prioritize the needs of working people -- not corporate landlords and millionaires.

My office has worked to advance protections for survivors and victims. We've been met with barriers and excuses from Frey's admin. I'm horrified, but unsurprised, that MPD’s reports related to their response to Mariah Samuels are out-of-line of her family's experience.

It’s Mesa’s last day before closing permanently. Go show them some ❤️

Mesa Pizza was priced out of Dinkytown. Another beloved small business driven out by price gouging. We need to protect our small businesses from corporate greed with commercial rent control!

“Despite its challenges, Wonsley said, the most rewarding part of her time on City Council has been showing local voters, such as students, how the decision making process works and how they can have a lead part in it."

Yesterday, the Frey administration declined to release the internal investigation conducted by MPD related to their actions surrounding the violence and shooting of Davis Moturi by his neighbor. Mr. Moturi and our community deserves a transparency.

The days are getting darker earlier! I am glad to have passed funding to increase lighting in Dinkytown. Students should be able to walk home from class with visibility, and that is exactly what my office delivered this year!

We recently visited the Pillars of Prospect Park to connect with residents ahead of the election! Over the last 3.5 years, my office has prioritized senior needs at city hall.
